Hit Over the Head - Signs of a Committed Relationship

If you do something long enough, you tend to take it for granted. Then it takes a rock to hit you over the head to show you what you have. In this case it's knowing whether or not you are in a committed relationship. Yes we do take things for granted when we are with a partner for a period of time that it becomes second nature to us.

Whether or not you're married is not even considered in determining if you have a committed relationship. Having a committed relationship signs are all over the place if they are meant to be and this article will identify those attributes for you.

Yes as you read these sign posts take heed and reflect whether or not they apply in your situation. If they do, then stop procrastinating and at least say thank you to the person that is committed. You will reap the benefits far beyond your expectations.

So here are some of the more obvious hit over the head signs.

1. Your significant other takes time out of their life to listen to you when you want to vent. Or even if you have an idea that is preposterous and that no one else would want to listen to you your partner will listen to you. Who else would have the patience to listen to the ideas that you have?

2. If your partner wants to take you to their parents or relatives for a special occasion. No one would take someone out to their relatives unless there was some kind of connection or commitment there. It's all in the cards and you should take this opportunity again at the end of the night to thank them again for trusting.

3. Are any words to the effect that you resemble some sort of Hollywood actor? If you have that personae then keep it. If not, act like it anyway. It's always nice to be compared to some movie star even though you've never been on stage before. But just having the adulation that your partner adores is another sign over the head that there is a committed relationship here.

4. The best wine needs to be aged and it's probably more than a couple of years old before you find a year that suits your taste. So it is the same with committed relationships. This takes time to find out about each other and if you don't pressure your partner on this aspect it will naturally come in the form of body language, gestures, and kind words that come out from time to time.

There are a lot more signs of a committed relationship but these are some of the more obvious and if any of these signs seem to happen to you then you know what to do next. Don't you?
